Long-form content like ebooks and guides are useless now. 

But Mark, what do you mean useless? Aren't those great lead magnets?

They once were but not any longer. For two reasons, explosion of content and AI fueled content. Content is now a commodity unless there is something new and unique to share. 

Those pieces of content aren't valuable to convert people any longer.

It might be valuable in the form of a pillar page, but as a lead magnet, they're pretty much worthless. You'll get a low number of not very high quality leads. 

Here's what you should do instead. 

Create long-form content that has either an original point of view or research-backed long-form content.
