Self-Reported Attribution on Steroids

I recently came across an example of this that kind of blew my mind.

Self-reported attribution has been on the scene for awhile now. It's all the rage.

If you want a truly people-first way to understand how someone found out about you, then you got to ask people directly.

That's the entire premise of self-reported attribution.

I recently came across an example of this that kind of blew my mind.

It wasn't from a B2B company.

It was from a sock company, Bombas.

Love their socks.

I went to go buy a new bag of socks and after I checked out I saw the following.

Talk about covering all your bases!

Most people recommend you design the question so it's opened ended and you don't bias the responder. In this case, Bombas has done the exact opposite.

I found it fascinating and maybe we should make the question a bit more focused?
