LinkedIn Company Pages Need Help

They suck because the company is posting mostly self-serving content, the posts aren't written well, and they don't engage with other posts or pages.

Nearly every brand has a company page on LinkedIn.

And nearly every page sucks.

They suck because the company is posting mostly self-serving content, the posts aren't written well, and they don't engage with other posts or pages.

Overall, a very company-first approach that probably is doing more harm than good for the brand.

Here's what I would do instead.

Have nearly every post be about people. Each post includes an image or a video.

And the posts are telling stories and sharing examples that are coming from customers, employees, partners, etc.

The page should clearly communicate who is behind the posts. Aka the people doing the writing and posting.

The posts are written for how people speak. Conversational, casual, fun, and choppy copy.

Company pages can be done well. But it takes a people-first approach.
