Google is starting to lean into People-first GTM. Here's the evidence from a Search Engine Land article.
"I recently discovered Knowledge Panel subtitles like “Content Creator (Medicine)” and “Content Creator (Travel)” in the SERPs.
This shows Google’s explicit identification of individuals as authoritative content creators within specific fields."
Google has said for awhile now that expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness is important to getting ranked high. Calling it E-A-T.
They now recently added another E, “experience.”
And who has real experience? People of course.
This is an acknowledgement by Google that the Internet continues to evolve from a search-centric to a more social-centric experience. And with that shift, Google needs to adapt and change how they surface the right information from the right sources.
No longer is the source just a website, but a person. What an idea! lol

Optimization passes through three phases:
- Understandability. Create clear relationships between the content creator and reference pages that Google can use to verify facts about the person.
- Credibility. Establish connections between the content creator and relevant content.
- Deliverability. Expand the content creator’s digital footprint by creating new content, getting content published about them and controlling all information strands."
