Expectations

Audit where you set expectations with your buyers and customers. Here's a good list to help you get started.

Such an important component of a customer's experience.

The tip today is straight forward. Audit where you set expectations with your buyers and customers. Here's a good list to help you get started.

Landing pages. Are you delivering what you promise?

Thank you pages and form thank you messages. Are you following up and following through as fast you promised? Should you be promising and executing a faster response? Answer is most likely yes.

Pricing page. Are you sharing pricing? Does the pricing have a lot of 'it depends'?

First call with AE or SDR. Are you promoting a demo but it's really just a discovery call?

Chatbots. What are you saying, promising, sharing?

Customer stories and value-based statements. Are they actually true and factual?

Sales process. Is Sales under promising and overdelivering or the inverse?

Onboarding process. Is the process moving at the speed of the customer?

Surprise and delight, not surprise and frustrate.
