A great thing you can do to grow more efficiently is to build and create WITH people.
It's such a simple principle that many don't know how to get started. Here are six pretty straightforward ways to do it:
- Ask questions in public forums and use the answers to help you create something
- Work with a salesperson who knows buyers and customers like the back of their hand
- Partner with a customer to bring a lesson to life
- Create a live webinar and use it as a way to get feedback
- Do simple polls on the right social platform
- Ship content in a batches on LinkedIn to get reactions and include some of the people in the final version
The idea is to stop building in isolation so you can get a better representation of your ideal audience to be part of the experience. You get faster feedback loops, new ideas, and better outcomes.
It's why I'm a fan of the whole idea of building in public, better known as building with people.
